Wood with straight, irregular and interwoven grain in accordance with the growing conditions, having very compact light brown Heartwood and Sapwood that is quite apparent and not very resistant. Radially-sawn surfaces reveal the characteristic silvery form due to the wide rays.
Uses
It is used to create furniture, furnishings, wall units, fixtures, window frames and flooring.

MAPLE
General description
A light-coloured wood, from yellowish-white to pale pinkish. It is a very durable, compact and hard wood that does not bend when subjected to compression and flexion. Its remarkable hardness means it is resistant to weather, wear and stress. The glossy surface presents variable graining and a fine texture. It is easily contoured, even using steam.
Uses
This wood is used to manufacture flooring (parquet), carved objects and furniture.
