TOULIPIER

Descrizione generale
With a straight, uniform grain and a fine and regular texture, this wood is the colour of the Heartwood ranges from light yellowish-brown to olive-brown, whilst the variegated Sapwood is whitish, very wide and clearly differentiated.
Impieghi
It is used for internal joinery, light constructions and interior finishes for boats. After being treated with a preservative, it is also used for exterior joinery.

AMERICAN WALNUT

Descrizione generale
Very similar to European walnut, this wood is easily obtained and is characterised by its dark brown colour. The Italian name - Noce Canaletto - derives from the channels that carry chlorophyll.
Impieghi
It is mainly used in the furniture industry for furnishings and veneers.

WHITE OAK

Descrizione generale
The wood is very similar in colour and appearance to European oak. Whilst the Sapwood is light, the Heartwood goes from brownish to dark brown in colour. The grain is quite straight with fairly marked veins (from medium to large) and rather long medullary rays. Being easy to work, compact and heavy, it is suited to a variety of uses.
Impieghi
Constructions, furniture, flooring, interior and exterior finishes, mouldings, doors, kitchen furniture, claddings, sleepers, wooden bridges, slats for barrels, coffins and urns.
